This was a total kitchen redesign and the brief was to create a modern yet country style kitchen to suit the style of the property which dates back to the 1700’s. The client is a keen cook and wanted to maximise storage and create zoned areas for prepping, cooking and drinks making… as well as a cheeky bar!
We installed standard kitchen units but added customised details to add a personalised look and feel.
Additional work included creating a small bar area, a radiator cover and after discovering a boarded up area under the stairs which hadn’t been seen for around 80 years we converted this to a handy storage area.
Tony Thurlow reburbished my kitchen to the highest standard, using his design and people-management skills as well as his trained and practised carpentry expertise. He was quick, reliable and affordable, taking into account the variety of requirements of his client.
I thoroughly enjoyed the development and building process, am delighted with the result, and am now the object of kitchen envy.
